We’re not professional photographers, and we’re not trying to be. But we’re scrappy, and we knew we needed headshots-fast.
We didn’t need perfection…
We wanted connection.
We wanted photos that showed anyone who came across our business exactly who we are: two people who deeply love each other and are proud of the work we create together.
Chandler and I fell in love when we were 15 and 16. From the start, we knew we were going to be inseparable.
He loves to listen, I love to talk.
He keeps me grounded, and I keep him young.
But his steadiness is hard to put into words. There’s a calm in him (a rare kind) that only comes from having lived a lot of life early on. It’s like he’s already lived a whole lifetime before this one. So often, I find myself caught in the chaos, only to look up and see him there-
Already steady, already waiting…
Hand outstretched…
Just waiting for me to drop my sword and take it.
My favorite thing about working with him is knowing we grew up together. And in all that growing, we filled in each other’s gaps. Where one of us struggled, the other learned to rise. There’s something really powerful about that. It’s a kind of magic I don’t take for granted.
Fast forward some years and our world was transformed by a tiny little angel swaddled in cotton and perfectly finished in a pink satin bow.
The fire was lit.
And we knew who we wanted to build our heritage for.
Our little girl is always in our corner, cheering us on. She’s seen how hard we’ve worked, and how much joy and heart we’ve poured into what we’re building side by side. So when she snapped this photo (and somehow captured all that emotion in one frame) my heart just bursted. She’s our glue. Our children are the inspiration behind it all.
When I look at this photo, I see history. I see growth. I see love. I see excitement. I see hope.
And I hope when you look at our faces, you see two people ready to grow alongside you. Two people who care deeply and aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work.
Because for us, the reward is in the grit.
